About

The Berkshire

The Berkshire, located in Denver, CO on Stapleton’s main street, serves fresh and inventive dishes centered around pork and bacon. In a location heavily populated with chains, this family-owned restaurant serves unique meals from scratch in a casual and trendy environment. The Berkshire has been serving Denver since December 2007. Some popular meals include our bacon flight and pork chop, which is served with mango-jicama slaw and yucca fries. While the dishes represent American cuisine-heavy on the pig-The Berkshire does serve lighter fare as well as vegetarian dishes.

In addition to serving up heaping portions of pig, we also take pride in our creative cocktails. We have a fully stocked bar and draft beers, insuring you will find the perfect drink to accompany your porky dish. Our rotating taps feature Colorado brews along with the ever popular Labatts. The Berkshire hosts weekly drink specials and happy hours, giving you a reason to celebrate any day of the week!

Whether you are hosting an event, or just wanting to celebrate with a group of friends because it’s Wednesday and you’re craving bacon, stop by The Berkshire and let us show you just how much we love pig!

THE BERKSHIRE’S FLIGHT OF BACON FANCY

After finishing my review of The Berkshire, I called owner Andy Ganick to find out what freaky pig savant was running his kitchen. Turns out the guy with the porky jones is Ganick himself…

FROM WINE TO ICE CREAM TO PORK, FLIGHTS TAKE OFF IN DENVER

The Berkshire, Stapleton’s prime pork palace, preps heritage breed bacon four different ways for its bacon flight, giving guests a chance to chew their way through garlic, curried, balsamic and candied maple strips of smoky, fatty goodness. Salt and sugar mingle together in craveable harmony on a plate that offers little else to distract you from the bacon itself.
